17 Arrested Filipinos in Qatar Granted Provisional Release

Seventeen overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) arrested in Qatar have been granted provisional release, pending an investigation by Qatari authorities, Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac announced Thursday.

30 Filipino Human Trafficking Victims Repatriated from Myanmar

Thirty Filipino victims of illegal recruitment and human trafficking in Myanmar have been safely repatriated through the efforts of the Philippine government. The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) is now providing them with necessary assistance and support.

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) distributed approximately ₱3.5 million in financialaid to 67 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) from the National Capital Region (NCR) through its AKSYON Fund, a support system for OFWs and their families in need of immediate assistance.
