DMW Warns Public Against Fake Facebook Pages and Job Scams

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) is warning the public against fraudulent Facebook pages and individuals impersonating the agency to solicit money, offer fake overseas jobs, or promise expedited document processing.

The DMW has identified a fake page named “DMWs CARE,” which illegally uses the department’s logo to advertise overseas employment opportunities. Reports have also surfaced about scammers posing as DMW employees to deceive job seekers.

The department emphasized that it does not solicit money or provide unauthorized services through unofficial channels. Job seekers are urged to verify information only through the DMW’s official platforms.

For official announcements and concerns, the public may contact the DMW Central Office and Regional Offices via the email addresses listed on the DMW website or send inquiries to feedback@dmw.gov.ph.

For immediate assistance, the DMW Public Information Assistance Center can be reached at (02) 8722-11-44 and (02) 8722-11-55. Direct messages can also be sent to the verified DMW Facebook page.
