Tagumpay para sa pagsisikap ng single mom, regalo ng anak na tinyente

For a parent, no feeling can compare to the pride of watching your child succeed in life. A child’s success reflects not only a parent’s success, but also counts as a reward for their hard work and sacrifice. This year marks the Layag Diwa Class of 2024’s graduation from the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA). Among its many graduates, the Bantay OCW Foundation had the pleasure of reuniting with Eric R. Li. During this brief catch up, the newly appointed Police Lieutenant talks about what inspired him to join the Philippine National Police, the achievements of his class, and the challenges he faced along the way. Most especially, Eric gave thanks to the mother that stood by his side and supported his education. Eric’s story is one among a sea of heartwarming tales about OFW parents working abroad to put their children through school. Yet no matter how many of these stories are told, it never fails to show the immeasurable love of a parent, the lengths they will go to for their family they left behind, and their willingness to sacrifice even the privilege watching their child grow up in order to ensure for them a bright future.
