A New Horizon for Humanity: The 9th SRG Conference

As the world continues onto a new age of uncertainties, with the realism of social responsibilities hanging over us all, the future of unification hangs in a delicate balance. While there are those who endeavor to act on their duties to society there is only so much a single organization can do on their own. A time must come for like-minded institutions to unify under the banner of “Progression” in order to further their noble hopes for a brighter tomorrow. The notion of building this cooperative frontier was a key point of the 9th Spring Rain Asian Philanthropic Development Conference which was held at the Holiday Inn Golden Mile in Hong Kong. This event, hosted by the social enterprise, focused on brining together multiple philanthropic organizations and individuals who all wish to contribute in developing a better roadmap for the future of humanity. For its nature of Public Service, The Bantay OCW Foundation was also invited to take part in the event. Bantay OCW’s very own Ms. Susan K. Participated as one of the keynote speakers for the topic Transforming Systems: The Role of Unity in Achieving Sustainability. With the success of this event, the blueprint for positive change has been drawn. And while the vision for a collaborative service to humanity is still advancing, the drive of philanthropic minds to prioritize development and innovation for the benefit of all is a reassuring steer in the right direction.
