Bantay OCW Foundation, Inc. (BOFI) is a non-stock, non-profit media services organization established in 1996 by Susan M. Andes, also known as “Susan K.” Officially registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on August 29, 2007, BOFI is dedicated to supporting Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) through various services, including information dissemination, education, counseling, and assistance in employment or repatriation.

For nearly three decades, the organization has developed a wide network of viewers and partners across both government and private sectors, enabling it to support diverse advocacies effectively. These networks and BOFI’s proven track record are key drivers for ensuring the success of its projects, all of which align with BOFI’s main goal: to uplift the lives of overseas Filipinos and their families.

Mission & Vision

Mission: BOFI aims to provide overseas workers with accessible, high-quality educational programs and livelihood initiatives. These efforts enhance skills, promote economic and mental well-being, and empower workers to build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.

Vision: The foundation envisions empowering overseas workers to achieve sustainable growth, personal fulfillment, and financial stability through education, livelihood opportunities, and community support.

Key Programs and Services

Pilipinas Online Bantay OCW with Susan K

The flagship project of BOFI, this program has been airing for nearly three decades and holds the distinction of being the longest-running public service program. Its topics and segments include:

  • Serbisyong Legal: Legal services
  • Pera Eskwela: Financial literacy
  • Health Watch: Health and mental wellness
  • OFW Assistance: channel support and direction for overseas workers

Global Outreach Program

This program extends BOFI’s services to overseas Filipinos and their families, enhancing support across borders.

Barangay Outreach Program

A collaborative initiative with government agencies that provides essential services to underserved communities at the barangay level.

Affiliates

Overseas Filipino Network (OFNI / OFN Media)

Duly registered in September 2024, OFN Media serves as BOFI’s media outfit. It is equipped to handle projects requiring media coverage and support, ensuring the sustainability and self-reliance of BOFI programs.

OFN Advocacy Cooperative (OFN Coop)

On November 11, 2023, the Cooperative Development Authority formally recognized OFN Coop as a duly established cooperative under Philippine laws. OFN Coop complements

BOFI and OFN Media by providing support for various services and projects, both local and international.

Together, these organizations enhance BOFI’s ability to deliver services cohesively and sustainably while expanding network coverage.
