Filipino Camaraderie and Community Worldwide

“No man is an island.”

A popular saying that emphasizes interconnection and reliance on others. On our own, we can only go so far and carry so little. That is why we need people we can rely on — friends and companions whom we can turn to during our times of need.

Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) often face the challenge of adapting to life in a foreign land, separated from their families. It’s essential for them to find moments to unwind and build relationships with fellow Filipinos. In Taiwan, numerous Filipino communities have formed, offering mutual support and care.

In this episode of the Bantay OCW straight from Kaohsiung Taiwan, we will get to know the life of our kababayans in Taiwan and explore the brotherhood they share in a foreign land.
