Paghihirap ng mga OFWs abroad, hindi pinapauwi ng mga amo nila

OFWs around the world face many challenges during their years abroad. One example can be the loneliness they feel while separated from their families, another can be the difficulties of adjusting to life in a different country.

But while these problems can be remedied by the convenience of technology and will power, abuse by the hands of their employer is a whole different story.

Keeping someone from coming home to their family, and withholding their pay, can be a cruel thing for an employer to do. And yet many OFWs around the world are put in this exact kind of predicament.

Ms. Rowenalyn Del Rosario, an OFW living in Dammam Saudi Arabia, shares her story with the Bantay OCW Foundation in the hopes that her plea to go home will finally be heard.
